Is this course (online diploma in Diabetology) is approved?

Yes, this course is accredited with Baqai Medical University

Which equipments are required to attend online course?

Laptop (preferable)\PC with sound card
Microphone with Speaker
Webcam (Recommended)
DSL at least 256
UPS (Recommended)

In case of missed lecture, how student will be able to get that lecture?

Recorded lectures will be available online for registered students.

How student will be register in any diploma\certificate course?

Provisional registration will be done on receiving admission form, participant for onsite may also register his or her self directly at BIDE.

How students will be enrolled from University?

Within a month of start of diploma application for enrolment are processed on prescribed form against enrolment fees.

How students will be able to perform final exam?

Our final exam consists of two parts 1. Theory 2. Practical

For First and second exams student have to arrive at BIDE 20 days prior to semester

Will I have any interaction with my professor and/or peers?

Yes. Distance learning offers multiple methods of interaction like discussion boards with threads and e-mail.

What is a threaded discussion?

A threaded discussion is the distance learning version of a “class discussion.” Threads are series of responses to a particular topic.

Will I receive technical support?

Yes.

Do I have to sign on to the Internet at a particular time or place?

Yes

Which Internet Browsers can I use?

If you have Microsoft Windows (ME, 2000 or XP), we recommend Internet Explorer - IE 6.0. We also support IE 5.5 and above. Fire fox, Google Chrome and Opera.

Will a distance learning program cost me more money than a brick and mortar school?

In the initial period of program a subsidy will be offered from the university. It will make the program more affordable and equal to the cost of traditional class learning.

Textbooks required for my course?

No. presentations are available online during semister.

Who teaches the courses?

Course is led by renounced practicing physicians who have vast experience of teaching and practicing in their respective fields.

Can I start my course at any time or are there specific dates for the sessions?

Only on starting dates, mentioned by the Baqai Medical University.

Can I talk to the instructor before the course to ask questions?

What is the method of delivery for BIDE distance learning courses?

Course is exclusively Web-based.

Do you offer scholarships?

Students may apply for scholarship, which is awarded on merit and credits assign to traceable outstanding records.

What if I am unable to complete the course I have registered for? Do I get a refund?

Fee is not refunded but the enrolment of the course is for two years which means each student has four possible chances to pass the exam.

When must my payment would receive?

On receiving your application short listing will be done and date & time of entry test will be communicated. Only successful candidates will be asked to appear for final interview on schedule date and time. The admission is offered through later of acceptance. Period of submission of fee is mentioned in the letter. All the students must submit their fee prior to inception of diploma course. Fee is accepted only in form of pay order/bank draft in favor of “Baqai Foundation”.
