Purpose of course:

To educate and train foot care assistants for prevention of leg amputation and quality management of Foot Ulcers.

The course will enable the participants to develop the following competencies:

Target participants and course requirements:

All those, who have passed their Matriculation.
Age: Between 20 -45 years
At least two years of prior experience as a paramedic / dresser in hospital setup or clinic.

Section	Objective
A- Theory: Anatomy. Foot Disorders. Nail conditions. Physical Examination & management.	Developing knowledge to recognize & evaluate Foot conditions.
B- Practical: Handling & sterilization of instruments. Clinical assessment. Assisting Physician in developing a treatment plan and its implementation. Interaction with other healthcare professionals.	Develop skill to manage foot condition surgically with aseptic technique.
