The mission statement of the Pharmacy
is to provide optimal pharmaceutical services
to patients requiring drug therapy and to encourage continuous
improvement in the quality of pharmaceutical care Pharmacy
staff are actively involved in the their work and activities

Pharmacy services actively contribute
to the quality use of medicines within the hospital, and
have demonstrated and quantified the benefits of clinical
pharmacy services to patient care. The Pharmacy Department
provides the following services:
-- 24 hour pharmacy service
-- Special discounts
on Glucometers, strips, insulin's and insulin pens.
-- Other medicines are
also available on discounted price.
-- Outpatient dispensing
and medication counseling to ambulatory patients.
-- Clinical pharmacy services
to inpatients and day therapy patients.
-- Ordering of stock and
inventory control of pharmaceuticals. |
